MACHINE FOR HARVESTING CABBAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabbage-harvesting machine in which a function for correcting the postures of lodged cabbages is imparted to ridge height sensor disks capable of being rotated in a state brought into contact with both the sides of the upper surface of a harvesting ridge. SOLUTION: A cabbage harvesting machine 1 is provided in which a pair of right and left raking devices 5 for raking cabbages planted in a crop field with the travel of a machine frame 2 are disposed at the tip portion of the frame 2 that travels by the use of a travel device 3. Therein, the sensor disks 9 of ridge height sensors 6 are disposed on the front side of the raking device 5 to correct the postures of the lodged cabbages, wherein the sensor disks 9 are brought into contact with both the sides of the upper surface of the harvesting ridge N and rotated. The sensor disks 9 are rotated in prescribed directions, respectively, by powers, and are supported in states capable of being floated through links 7. The sensor disks 9 are also supported with links capable of being swung in the lateral direction. Sensor functions 7a are imparted to the links 7 for vertically movably supporting the sensor disks 9.
