PORTABLE TELEPHONE SET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set which is not hindered by its ear hook-on type holder when it is stored and is automatically set to a form for use on ear or to a form for setting on a desk through button operation. SOLUTION: When this portable telephone set is switched from the form for storage to the form for use on an ear, a button is depressed in a first button position 7, and then an worn on ear type holder 4 is released from a first hook 10 and is turned in the direction of an arrow 11 by the force of a spring 9. The worn on ear type holder 4 which has started rotating is caught by a second hook 5 and is stopped to assume the form for use on an ear. When the button is depressed in a second button position 8 in the form for use on an ear, the worn on hook on ear type holder 4 is released from the second hook 5 and is rotated by the force of the spring 9. The ear hook-on type holder 4 which has started rotating is caught by a fixing part 6 of the worn on ear type holder 4 and is stopped, thus assuming the form for setting on a desk.
