RADIO SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radio system having extremely high convenience by selecting either an analog control signal system or a digital control signal system and applying the selected system. SOLUTION: A slave station control signal detection part 106 is provided with a tone detection part 106-l for detecting a tone signal (analog control signal) and a modem 106-2. A slave station control part 107 discriminates the analog control signal system or the digital control signal system in accordance with the outputs from the tone detection part 106-1 and the modem 106-2, i.e., whether a tone signal is detected by the tone detection part 106 and whether an output from the modem 106-2 includes a synchronizing signal (digital control signal). The analog control signal system or the digital control signal system is selected on the basis of the discriminated result and the selected system is applied.
