Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device to illuminate a plane having a wide area in proportion to the light source uniformly from aside using a single light source. SOLUTION: A solid photo-guide has a micro-prism having a refraction index (n) to illuminate the surface 4 uniformly by making grazed incidence at an angle θ1, consisting of a plane 15 and plane 14 with the plane angle δ of the section substantially perpendicular and horizontal, respectively, to the surface 4. The micro-prism formed in a recess, and one surface 21 of micro-prism facing the plane 15 has an edge 22 consisting of a parallel surface 14 inclined at an angle α(-) with respect to the axis of the guide and another edge 23 consisting of a vertical surface 15 inclined at an angle γ(-) with respect to the perpendicular to the surface to be illuminated. The values of α(-) and γ(-) are decided on the basis of the characteristics of guide n, θ1, and δ. |
