METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MAGNETIC TAPE PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method of manufacturing a magnetic tape product suitable for improvement of the reliability of magnetic tape product and the management of correspondence between the pin-hole information and a film roll. SOLUTION: At the terminal 150 on the film roll manufacturing side, a pin- hole information is generated on the basis of the result of pin-hole inspection, such pin-hole information is stored in a memory in relation with the manufacturing number, manufacturer number, when the manufacturing number and manufacturer number are received from the terminal 250 in the product manufacturing side, the memory is searched to read the pin-hole information based on the manufacturing number and manufacturer number and such pin-hole information is transmitted to the terminal 250 in the product manufacturing side. The product manufacturing side terminal 250 inputs a manufacturing number and a manufacturer number, transmits such numbers to the film roll manufacturing side terminal 150 and when the pin-hole information is received from the film roll manufacturing side terminal 150, the magnetic tape product lot including the pin-hole is specified based on the pin-hole information.
