METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROCESSING SLUDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly, efficiently, and continuously dry sludges in a simple consti tution. SOLUTION: Some chemical conversion sludge 100 containing moisture is fed into tray 104 and transported into a sludge drying chamber 120. At the sludge drying chamber 120, superheated steam of high temperature and low pressure supplied from a superheated steam generating device 130 is blown from steam discharging bars 122, 124 toward the tray 104. With such an arrangement as above, the chemical conversion sludges 100 are heated rapidly together with the trays 104 and moisture contained in the chemical sludges 100 is evaporated instantly to become dried sludges 101.
