SOLUTION: A first silent chain 18 is wound around a first train 36 of teeth of a sprocket 14 of a crankshaft 10 and a first cam sprocket 16, and a second silent chain 19 is wound around a second train of teeth of the sprocket 14 of the crankshaft 10 and a second can sprocket. The train of teeth of a driving shaft side sprocket is formed so that the pich is 1/2 pitch offset, and the pitch is formed at random. On the other hand, the silent chain 18 is formed at a single pitch. Variations in collision sound are produced only by variations in the pitch of the sprocket 14. |
