Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting powder coating composition and a coating method using the same both each capable of affording paint film excellent in smoothness and having good polishable property. SOLUTION: In a thermosetting powder coating composition comprising an epoxy group-containing resin, a carboxylic acid group-containing curing agent, extender pigment and wax, this composition features containing wax in an amount of 0.5-8 wt.% based on 100 wt.% of a total of the epoxy group- containing resin and the carboxylic acid group-containing curing agent. For example, the wax has a melting point of >=50 deg.C and also not higher than a curing set temperature.
