Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device which can stop the operation safely in a simple structure, even when power failure occurs during the rotation of a drum. SOLUTION: This image recording device is provided with a recessed plate suction part formed on the outer periphery surface of a drum 102 mounted by winding the plate coated its surface by a sensitive material on the outer periphery surface, a passage communicating with the plate suction part, suction means 601, 602 for sucking the inside space of the plate suction part to a negative pressure through the passage and a reserve tank 604 for sucking the plate to the outer periphery surface of the drum through the passage by keeping the inside in the negative pressure after stopping the operation of the suction means 601, 602.
