Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote LAN user contact method by which information can efficiently be transmitted to a LAN user among a plurality of contact methods without the need for a remote user to be conscious of which remote LAN the remote user is resident. SOLUTION: In this contact method, a user of a computer on each LAN sets a sequence of surety of contact to the user among a plurality of kinds of contact methods by a server 11 on its own LAN, and servers 11 exchange the information denoting the sequence so that the user on the local LAN can transmit the information to the remote LAN user without being conscious of the sequence of the contact method and the physical location of the remote LAN user and the medium of the information is converted according to the selected contact method at that time.
