WAVE PATTERN GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wave pattern generator which generates a place for human communications on the waterside. SOLUTION: Eight pieces of speakers SP1 to SP8 subjected to a waterproof treatment are arranged near respective legs 4a to 4h in a tank 2 which is supported by the legs 4a to 4h and into which water is contained at equal intervals in such a manner that their front surfaces exist at a place below 1 cm from the water and correspond to the positions of the respective legs when viewed from above. Person detecting sensors SE1 to SE8 are embedded into the respective legs described above and the respective corresponding speakers SP1 to SP8 operate cooperatively. When a person approaches the tank 2, for example, the nearby person detecting sensor SE1 operates and sounds are produced from the speaker SP1 and the vibrations thereof transfer to the water surface, thereby generating the ripples H1 centering right above the speaker SP1. The ripples H1 spread and interfere with the ripples H3 and H6 generated from the other speaker SP3 or SP6, thereby forming the diversified ripples. The person eventually share the relations with other persons through the ripples while recognizing his or her own existence. The function of the creation of the place for human communication and medium for it ought to be called as the beginning of the human communication can be obtained.
