STERIC DRAWING OF DRESS PATTERN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a well-balanced dress having a desired fittability, good designability and unified feeling from the upper body to the lower body without necessitating troublesome works such as basting by forming a dress pattern on a paper in a short time based on a simple calculation. SOLUTION: A basis pattern free from the swell of the bust, the bladebone, etc. of the wearing person is prepared by a calculation based on the measured value of one-bust dimension measured by passing a measuring tool on a point above the bust point of the person by about 5-6 cm and a straight line connecting both armpits of the person and a dimensions of the other parts of the wearing person. The basis pattern is cut open and a part corresponding to the swell is added thereto to obtain the pattern for the upper body. A yoke pattern forming an original form corresponding to the waist part is attached to the upper body pattern to form a body pattern. Parts corresponding to the margin and design part of the clothes are added to the body pattern to obtain the objective dress pattern.
