Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a friction material having an optimized coefficient of friction and a prolonged life and improved in performances and the easiness of maintenance by distributing a hard resin in a soft resin having a specified bending modulus. SOLUTION: A hard resin 25h comprising a hard polyamide or a hard polyamide elastomer and having a bending modulus of 1,000-2,000 MPa is dispersed in a soft resin 25s comprising a soft polyamide or a soft polyamide elastomer and having a bending modulus of 100-500 MPa to constitute a brake pad 25 which is a friction material having a coefficient of friction of 0.4-0.5. In an image forming apparatus having a front frame, a rear frame spaced from the front frame by a specified distance, and light-sensing drum supported by the front frame and the rear frame, the friction material is pressure-contacted with at least one end in the axial direction of the light-sensitive drum. |
