Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyurethane-based binder system for a cold box and for a non-baking process of a polyurethane. SOLUTION: This binder system consists of a phenolic resin component which contains the phenolic resin having at least 2 OH groups per one molecule, and a polyisocyanate component which contains at least 2 isocyanate groups per one molecule, and at least the phenolic resin component contains a solvent. In the new binder system, the solvent of the phenolic resin component contains a substance selected from the group consisting of an alkylsilisic acid ester, an alkylsilisic acid ester oligomer and their mixtures, and/or the polyisocyanate component also contains a solvent consisting of such substance. The suitable alkylsilisic acid ester is tetraethyl silisic acid ester. |
