Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition exhibiting synergistically herbicidal effect on barnyard grass and high controlling effect thereon by including Drechslera monoceras having specific properties and a specific compound. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including (A) such a kind of fungus belonging to the genus Drechslera monoceras that one of PCR products obtained by PCR reaction using the DNA of Drechslera monoceras as template and using a DNA having a base sequence of the formula as primer stands at pref. 1.5-1.6 kbp, and as to be inert to useful plants (e.g. rice) but have herbicidal activity on Echinochloa sp. [e.g. MH-1901 (FERM BP-6091)] and (B) methyl 3-chloro-5-(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-ylcarbamoylsulfamoyl)-1- methylpyrazole-4-carboxylate.
