Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent edges of a packing band from deforming or bending at each side face of a packing band coil made up by winding up the packing band in a coiled shape, and to make a coil unit easily producible. SOLUTION: A packing band coil 11 is formed by winding up a thermoplastic resin packing band 11a with a cylindrical hollow 11b formed at its axis Disk- shaped pads 12 are adhered with a sticking agent to faces at both sides of the packing band coil 11, being butted each other in a form of concentric circle. Fold-down pieces 12a folded down so as to be inserted into the hollow 11b formed at the axis of the packing band coil 11 are provided respectively at the centers of the pads 12.
