RAINPROOF DEVICE OPERATED AT OPENING AND CLOSING OF VEHICLE DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a passenger from getting wet by rain or snow in the case where the passenger opens and closes an unbrella by him- or her self when the passenger gets on or off from a vehicle in an outdoor. SOLUTION: When a door 2 for getting on and off from a vehicle is opened, a rainproof device equipped onto the vehicle door 2 is actuated to faclitate opening and closing for an umbrella even when a passenger gets on and off from the vehicle at the time of rainy or snowy condition, so as to prevent the passenger from getting wet by rain or snow. When the vehicle door 2 is closed, the rainproof device is stored automatically. The rainproof device is composed of an awning or a top plate 3 easily stored, and the storage is carried out in a shape as it is, or by rolling into a conical core. A spring is attached to an inner part of the conical core, and force is stored in the spring when the awning is rolled out to reroll automatically the awning by reaction thereof. A form of the awning is constituted to be free from a trouble in rolling-in and -out to the conical core caused by deposition of water drops and the snow.
