IMPRINTING SYSTEM FOR ROTARY PRESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imprinting system capable of replacing with new imprint image during operating of a printer and advantageously reducing all costs for a stopping time, a printing spoilage and the printer. SOLUTION: In the imprinting system for a rotary press of the type comprising a printing cylinder 1 having a peripheral surface formed with an axial passage 16 extended along the cylinder 1, and an imprint head 21 disposed in the passage 16 is provided; the head 21 has an imprinting surface disposed substantially parallel to a peripheral surface of the head 21, and the head 21 can be dispatched from the passage 16 through an operating means during running-on of the printer to allow the imprinting surface to radially project over the peripheral surface of the cylinder 1.
