Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve axial direction conformance of a valve seat and a needle, prevent initial and long-term fuel leakage, and improve useful life by arranging the valve seat and a valve seat assembly having a swirl disk and a needle guide on a valve element provided on a tip side of an injector. SOLUTION: In a fuel injector, a valve seat assembly having a valve seat 24 is attached to a protrusion part of a valve element fixed to a tip side of a housing. The seat surface 26 of the valve seat 24 is formed in a truncated cone shape or a curved shape, and a fuel outlet opening 30 is formed on its center axis. The valve element is communicated with a fuel tube for leading pressurized fuel to the seat surface 26, and a needle is pushed to the seat surface 26 under energization of a spring. A needle guide 44 having a tubular bore 46 for guiding the needle is disposed on the valve seat 24, and a vortex disk 50 having a plurality of flow passages 52 is interposed between the lower needle guide 44 and the valve seat 24.
