PRESS EQUIPPED WITH WELDING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a necessity of securing a space for installing a welding equipment by enabling welding process of works to be welded in a press. SOLUTION: On opposite faces of plural sliding palates 21, 22, and 23 which are vertically moved up and down by a common press driving source with respect to a fixed base 11 of the main body of a press 10, pairs of forming molds 31 and 32, and 33 and 34, respectively, which are clamped and opened by a vertical motion of the slide plates 21, 22, and 23, are mounted. Between a fixed base 12 and the slide plate 23 opposing to the fixed base 12, a welding equipment 50, equipped with two electrode tips 53 and 57 which are in contact with and separated from each other and hold works W1 and W2 to be welded between them by the vertical motion of the slide plate 23, is provided. The electrode tip 57 located on the side of the fixed plate 12 is supported vertically movably with the fixed base 12 and pushed in a repulsive manner by a pressing spring 70 toward the electrode tip 53 located on the side of the slide plate 23.
