COMMODITY INFORMATION SEAL PRINTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity information seal prinding device with which a reader can print seals while the reader can freely layout commodity information retrieved from a commodity information storage device. SOLUTION: When an operator inputs retrieval information from an information input device 101, a commodity information retrieving device 20 retrieves commodity information from a commodity information storage device 18 to store them in a memory for preserving retrieved results 22. When the operator instructs positions where respective fileds included in the commodity information are assigned, a pattern file creating part 24 creates pattern files peculiar to respective commodity information according to the positions and a layout preparing part for printing 26 produces layout pictures by assigning commodity information corresponding to the created pattern files. Moreover, a bar code creating part 28 creates bar codes based on commodity identification information included in the commodity information and these bar codes are assigned by the layout preparing part for printing together with other commodity information. Then, the created layout pictures are printed as seals of the commodity information by a printing device 14.
