TERMINAL FOR COMMUNICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal for communication that can prevent incorrect operation during communication with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The terminal for communication is provided with an LCD 5, a touch panel 6 provided on the LCD 5, a detection section 32 that detects an input position of the touch panel 6 as position information, an information section 45 that stores input valid area information specifying an input valid area in the touch panel, a discrimination section 33 that discriminates whether or not an input position is placed in the input valid area on the basis of position information and the input valid area information, a telephone flag 44 denoting a speech state of the portable phone, and a control section 31 that accepts or rejects the input of the position information according to the result of the discrimination section 33. When a user enters information by using the touch panel 6 and a speech state is detected on the basis of the telephone flag 44, the discrimination section 33 discriminates whether or not the entered position is within the input valid area and the control section 31 accepts the entry of the position information by the entered position when the entered position is within the input valid area.
