MANUFACTURE FOR BARRIER RIB OF PLASMA DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display having no luminescent defect on the entire panel surfaces, by pattern-like exposing a photosensitive resin layer laminated on a substrate, then embedding a barrier rib material in a clearance part of a plurality of relief patterns formed by developing, removing the relief patterns, removing alkaline metal ions from the pattern provided on the substrate, and baking them. SOLUTION: A photosensitive resin layer is exposed pattern like, a barrierrib material is embedded in a clearance part of a plurality of relief patterns formed by developing, the relief patterns are removed using inorganic alkaline aqueous solution, a pattern comprising the barrier rib material is provided on a substrate, alkaline metal ions are removed from this pattern, and they are baked to manufacture a barrier rib of a plasma display. The removing alkaline metal ions is performed by immersing the substrate into organic acid aqueous solution. The removing of alkaline metal ions is also performed by immersing the substrate into ammonium salt aqueous solution.
