Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer tube with an inner surface groove capable of not only improving reliability of a welded portion but also reducing a pressure loss and a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: A metal tube 10 has, on its inner periphery, one welded portion 16 extended in an axial direction of the tube, portions 20 each having no fin and formed in a strip-like state at both sides of the portion 16, and many fins 12 formed in a range except the portions 20 and the portion 16. One or above protruding strip-like portions 18 intersecting in a cross-like state with the fins 12 are formed at one ends of the fins 12 in such a manner that a height of the portion 18 is 10 to 120% of that of the fin 12.
