OPENING/CLOSING VALVE FOR REFRIGERATING CYCLE APPARATUS AND REFRIGERATING CYCLE APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an opening/closing valve for a refrigerating cycle apparatus having an effective operation even at a low pressure difference, an easy management of an accuracy of working or a clearance, a low manufacturing cost and high reliability of stably operating even in a refrigerant circuit and a refrigerator having high performance using the valve. SOLUTION: The opening/closing valve 10 for a refrigerating cycle apparatus comprises an opening/closing valve body 4 having a channel formed therein to communicate with an outlet 2 through an inlet 1, a valve disc 5a reciprocatingly contained in a valve chamber 6 formed in the body 4 to open or close an opening of a valve seat 3 provided in the channel in the body 4, and a pilot channel 8 for communicating with the chamber 6 through the outlet 2. The disc 5a is formed of a resin material containing a sole synthetic resin or a mixture as a main component and having an excellent heat resistance and a small water absorbance. The valve 10 is applied in a refrigerator using a hydrofluorocarbon as a refrigerant and an ester oil or an ether oil as a refrigerating machine oil.
