Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good cooling function by optionally setting a cooling degree of an upper portion of a cylinder block (cylinder bore upper portion side) and a lower portion (cylinder bore lower portion side). SOLUTION: This cooling device is provided with a cylinder block having a water jacket 11 around a cylinder bore 13. In this case, a partition member 12 partitioning an upper portion 26 and a lower portion 27 for the water jacket 11 at a predetermined height in an axial direction of a cylinder. A cooling water flows to the upper portion 26 of the water jacket 11 and the lower portion 21 of the water jacket 11 as a separated system.
