Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an accurate motor load characteristic of an elevator by obtaining approximate characteristic curves on the basis of each torque measured value measured at the ascending time and descending time of a car, and shifting the approximate characteristic curves into line symmetrical positions in a heavy load area with a balance point as an axis of ordinate. SOLUTION: Torque command values 18a-18c and torque command values 19a-19c are measured from the ascending operation time and descending operation time of a car using only the load in a light load area or less. A balance point 21 is computed from approximate characteristic curves 20a, 20b obtained on the basis of the measured values. A 'full' display function can be set by computing a torque command value at the time of load 80% from a motor characteristic curve formed of continuous characteristic curves 20a, 22b and continuous characteristic curves 20b, 22a obtained by shifting the approximate characteristic curves 20a, 20b in line symmetrical positions in a heavy load area with the balance point 21 as an axis of ordinate.
