CHAIR UTILIZING PILLAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a chair foldable for not disturbing the passing when it is not used by fixing a mounting hardware for a seat plate to a pillar, and setting the seat plate in a horizontal use state and a vertical accomodation state by hinges on the mounting hardware. SOLUTION: A U-shaped fixed plate 2 is mounted on a pillar 1, and a mounting hardware 4 for a seat plate 3 is fixed. The seat plate 3 can be set in a horizontal state for sitting thereon and a vertical accomodation state to accomodate the seat plate for not disturbing the passing, by hinges 5 of the mounting hardware 4. Legs 6 are mounted on a bottom surface of the seat plate by means of hinges 5, and the legs can be folded along the vertical seat plate when the seat plate 3 is set in the vertical accomodation state. When the seat plate 3 is horizontally used for sitting thereon, the legs 6 are placed perpendicularly to the seat plate 3 for supporting the seat plate 3. Whereby the compact and tough chair capable of being folded when it is not used for not disturbing the passing, can be provided, and the safety of the chair can be improved.
