Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesion between a tensile body and a thermoplastic elastomer and to improve durability of a transmission belt, in the transmission belt having the thermoplastic elastomer forming a matrix. SOLUTION: A transmission belt 10 is used in a state to run around a pulley on the peripheral edge of which a plurality of engaging protrusions are formed at given pitches in a peripheral direction. The transmission belt 10 comprises a belt body 11 having a thermoplastic elastomer forming a matrix; a tensile body 13 buried in the belt body 11 in a manner to extend in the direction of a belt length; and engaging holes 12 engaged with the engaging protrusion of the pulley and formed at given pitches in the belt length direction. An acid- denatured thermoplastic elastomer is added in the matrix.
