RESIN COMPOSITION FOR RESIN CONCRETE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a one-pack type resin composition which can be dried in a short time and has good storage stability, by compounding (a) a thermosetting resin, (b) an inorganic filler, (c) a thickener containing thermoplastic resin powder as an active component, (d) a polymerization initiator and (e) a polymerizing monomer. SOLUTION: The component (a) is not limited, when being a radically curable unsaturated resin, and includes unsaturated resins. The component (b) includes natural aggregates and artificial aggregates, and has an average particle diameter of 5 μm to 1 cm. The component (c) includes polystyrene powder and styrene-methyl methacrylate copolymer powder. The component (d) is suitably selected in response to a temperature at which the composition is molded, such as methyl ethyl ketone peroxide. The component (e) is a liquid polymerizing unsaturated monomer, such as an acrylate. The resin composition is preferably molded by increasing the viscosity of the raw material mixture at
