Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the packaging work of an article with a film by setting the length in the axial direction of a roller of a rough surface part to be formed by the roller to take out a film in the discharging direction of the article to be not larger than the width of a film folding part to prevent both side parts of the film from being wound around the rough surface part. SOLUTION: In a device in which an article whose periphery is covered by a film F is moved in the discharging direction, and the film F to cover the article is cut from the film F at the waiting position, a part of the film F between the film F to cover the article and the film F at the waiting position is received, a rough surface part 35a to increase the carrying force is formed on an outer peripheral surface of a return roller 35 which is rotated in the article discharging direction to take out the film F at the waiting position in the discharging direction, and the length S1 along the axial direction of the roller is set to be not larger than the width S2 of a folding part Fa of the film F to be folded by a folding mechanism.
