GARBAGE TREATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to effectively and efficiently treat garbage. SOLUTION: A garbage treating device, by which the garbage is pulverized and then is subjected to oxidation, deodorization and decomposing treatment, is provided with a plurality of porous ceramic small pieces 5 of ferrite series on which microorganisms live, a cylindrical vessel 1 which accommodates and treats a plurality of ceramic small pieces and garbage 5 by being obliquely inclined, agitating means 2, 6 for repeatedly circulating downward a plurality of ceramic small pieces and the garbage accommodated in the vessel while agitating them from a lower part of the vessel upward and hot air introducing means 3, 4 for introducing hot air from the lower part of the vessel upward. Then, the plurality of ceramic small pieces and the garbage 5 are agitated and circulated in the vessel while introducing hot air and thereby the garbage is treated by utilizing pulverization oxidation to and deodorization action on the garbage by a plurality of ceramic small pieces and decomposition action by microorganisms.
