PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a cruising distance to a long cruising distance from a short cruising distance without arranging a switching means by connecting at least one battery to at least one electric power supply line of a plurality of electric power supply lines connected in parallel to a control device of electric power supplied to a driving motor. SOLUTION: A control device 62 electrically connected to driving motors 8a, 8b for driving driving wheel units 5a, 5b of a motor-driven wheelchair controls electric power supplied to the driving motors 8a, 8b. A first electric power supply line 17a and a second electric power supply line 17b are electrically connected in parallel to the control device 62, and a battery is electrically connected to at least one electric power supply line of plural electric power supply lines. When a cruising distance of the motor-driven wheelchair is short, the battery is electrically connected to, for example, only the first electric power supply line 17a, and when the cruising distance is long, batteries of the number corresponding to the cruising distance are electrically connected to, for example, the first electric power supply line 17a and the second electric power supply line 17b.
