RICE COOKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a space, to improve a handlability and to easily clean a rice cooker by providing an opening part opened on the side wall of a main body, a rice scoop holder pivoted in this opening part so as to freely appear/ disappear and a means for energizing the rice scoop holder into the main body. SOLUTION: A handle 3a is pushed to the outside of the side wall of the main body with a finger and the upper opening part of a rice scoop holder 3 is pulled to the outside of the side wall of the main body. Then, a rice scoop 5 is put in this part. In this case, when a hand is detached, the rice scoop holder 3 is pulled to the inside of the main body by the energizing force of a spring 4, the rice scoop 5 is abutted to an upper abutting part 2a of the opening part 2, and the rice scoop 5 is held on the main body. When serving boiled rice, the rice scoop 5 is pulled upward from the rice scoop holder 3 and the rice scoop 5 is taken out. Afterwards, the rice scoop holder 3 is pulled to the inside of the main body by the energizing force of the spring 4 and housed by abutting the handle 3 to the upper abutting part 2a of the opening part 2.
