Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gap waterproof device, which watertightly blocks the gap between the inner circumferential face of a larger-diameter conduit material and the outer circumferential face of a smaller-diameter cable or the like inserted into the conduit material at an open and of the conduit material, and is capable of positioning and securing the cable or the like with reliability and further is simple in structure and easy to handle. SOLUTION: A coupling body 1 to be forcedly thrusted and inserted into a conduit material P and a waterproof packing body 10 with a cable C or the like inserted thereinto, fit into the coupling body 1 are attached between the conduit material P and the cable C or the like to be inserted into the conduit material P at an open end of the conduit material. The coupling body 1 is formed by integrally coupling together a tapered insertion portion 2, which is tapered on the open end side and has a male thread 3 formed on the outer face of a circumferential sidewall, substantially C-shape in cross section and expandable in the radial direction, and a rotational operation portion 5 having a polygonal external shape. The waterproof packing body 10 is in cylindrical shape so that the cable kind C or the like can be inserted thereinto and has an insertion slit 11 formed. The waterproof packing body is provided with a pressing portion 12 formed on its inner circumferential face and swelled out toward the center, and with a positioning projection 13 is formed on its outer circumferential face, which positioning projection is to be positioned in the cut-off portion of the coupling body 1.
