CABLE STRINGING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable stringing device which enables easy and quick stringing of various types of cables. SOLUTION: The add a new cable L' to an existing cable L installed on a messenger wire W which is strung between poles via a chain coil C, first an end of the cable L' is installed on the coupler 3 of a cable stringing device. Then the end of the cable L' is driven from one pole towards another with a core material 1 at the forefront along the messenger wire W so that the cable L' goes through inside the chain coil C. Since a plurality of elastic bows 2 are flexibly deformed and kept in contact with the chain coil C at this time, the core material 1 is supported on the plurality of the bows 2 and advances substantially in the center of the chain coil C. Furthermore, since the plurality of the bows 2 are displaced in the circumferential direction so as to avoid the messenger wire W and the existing cable L although the messenger wire W and the existing cable L are located inside the chain coil C, these members will not hinder the advance of the core material 1.
