PERMANENT MAGNET FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly compress a magnet material by making a tubular die slidable when compressing by punches. SOLUTION: Both punches 7, 8 are composed of pedestals 9 and circular columnar pressers 10 extending therefrom, the pressers 10 are slidably inserted in center holes of tubular dies 6, without leaving gaps, and upper and lower coil springs 11, 12 are disposed between the pedestals 9 of the punches 7, 8 and the end faces of the tubular die 6, respectively. The tubular die 6 is vertically slidably positioned between the pedestals 9 of the punches 7, 8, without contacting the pedestals 9. A presser 10 of the lower punch 8 is inserted in a lower opening of the tubular die 6, a magnet material 13 is inserted from an upper opening, the presser 10 of the upper punch 7 is inserted, and the top and bottom of the magnet material 13 are uniformly compressed to obtain a uniform-state permanent magnet.
