Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for simply carrying out at a high success rate the chemical synthesis of a 50 or more residual group long chain peptide using only a solid phase synthetic method, wherein the success rate of the chemical synthesis has been low. SOLUTION: This method for chemically synthesizing a peptide by a solid phase synthetic method comprises treating a carrier resin to which the C- terminal amino acid derivative of a peptide to be synthesized is preliminarily bound. Therein, the method contains an inactivation treatment process for adding a protecting group to a partial α-amino group of an amino acid derivative which is carried on the carrier resin and can be subjected to a peptide elongation reaction.
