COLOR FORMER MICROCAPSULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make color former microcapsules suitable for pressure sensitive duplication and excellent in environmental aspects by a method wherein the color former microcapsules are formed by encapsulating the solution of electron donable colorless dye dissolved in hydrophobic solvent prepared by mixing terpene hydrocarbon with vegetable oil. SOLUTION: A color former microcapsule is formed by involving a solution, which is obtained by dissolving electron donable colorless dye in hydrophobic solvent prepared by mixing terpene hydrocarbon and vegetable oil together, in a membrane. As the concrete example of the terpene hydrocarbon, monoterpene such as myrcene, careen, ocimene, pinene or the like, and sesquiterpene such as bisabolene, satalene or the like are exampled. As the concrete example of the vegetable oil, repeseed oil, soy beam oil, sunflower oil or the like is example. The ratio of the terpene hydrocarbon in the mixture of the terpene hydrocarbon and the vegetable oil is preferably 50% or more, more preferably 60% or more. As the suitable example of the electron donable colorless dye, leuco dye is exampled. As the suitable example of the capsule membrane, gelatine or the like is exampled.
