SOLUTION: This circular saw is provided with a safety cover 5 and a dust collecting cover 8, and when the safety cover 5 is in the state of turning downward, the dust collecting cover 8 is positioned in a casing 3. When the safety cover 5 is turned upward, the dust collecting cover 8 is actuated to protrude downward from the bottom face of a base 4 in the constitution of the circular saw.
