Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a tooth-form roller for form rolling by forming the tooth-form roller for form rolling, as a double structure of a low hardness high toughness material in the inner layer and a high hardness low toughness material in the outer layer. SOLUTION: On the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical roller body 2, an involute shaped tooth-form 3 is formed to make the tooth-form roller 1 for a form roller. The roller body 2 and an inner layer 4 are formed with the material having low hardness and high toughness, such an alloy tool steel. The outer layer 5 as the surface layer of the inner layer 4 is formed with a material having high hardness and low toughness, such as high speed tool steel. The boundary part 6 between the inner layer 4 and the outer layer 5 is positioned at ±m/2 ((m) is module), by using a pitch circle diameter P of the tooth-form 3 as the reference. It is desirable to diffusion-weld the outer layer 5, composed of a sintered alloy around the inner layer 4 composed of the tool steel through an HIP treatment. The inner layer 4 is cut to a prescribed shape and held into a vessel, and the alloy powder for the outer layer 5 is filled around the inner layer 4 and charged into an HIP furnace to execute a heating-pressurized treatment. The treating condition in the HIP furnace is desirably at 1,100 deg.C and about 1,000 atm. |
