BATTERY MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the holding characteristic of battery while improving the rigidity of the whole of a battery module, and to facilitate the handling of battery module by holding plural batteries integrally with each other while connecting them to each other so as to structure the battery module. SOLUTION: A battery module is formed of plural batteries 11-14 having electrodes 11a-14a, 11b-14b in both end surfaces thereof and arranged in parallel with each other so that one electrode is positioned in one flat surface and that the other electrode is positioned in the other flat surface, plate-like insulating bodies 21, 31 for covering one electrode of the plural batteries, and two holding members 20, 30 integrally formed with the insulating bodies and having at least one conductive part 25-27, 34, 36 for electrically communicating at least two electrodes of the one battery with each other. One and the other electrodes of each battery are fixed to one conductive part of one and the other holding member, and each battery is electrically connected in parallel or in series with/to each other through a conductive part, and all the batteries are integrally held by two holding members.
