MAGNETIC TAPE CASSETTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely define a position of a magnetic tape in the heightwise direction at a tape outlet of a cassette. SOLUTION: A magnetic tape cassette is provided with a pair of take-up hubs 26, around which a magnetic tape is to be wound, accommodated within a cassette case formed by combining an upper half and a lower half 12 in a paired lid, via sheets 34, 36 disposed on its upper and lower surfaces. In this case, the lower half 12 is provided with a thick section 3 on the entire surface ranging outwardly from the position at which the sheets 34, 36 are to be disposed toward the vicinity of a tape outlet of the cassette.
