Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the volume of effluent, to recycle sodium and acid, and to reduce the volume of waste produced in incineration for disposal after drying without generating chlorine gas by recovering the sodium and the acid from the radioactive effluent containing high density sodium salt. SOLUTION: An electrodialysis with two bipolar films 5 placed between a positive electrode and a negative electrode, an anion exchange membrane 4 placed on the positive electrode side, and a sodium ion permselective membrane 3 placed on the negative electrode side between the bipolar membranes 5 respectively separates and recovers sodium ion as sodium hydroxide and anion as acid from radioactive effluent containing sodium salt. An electrodialysis with the sodium ion permselective membrane placed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode separates chloride ion as chlorine gas and sodium ion as sodium hydroxide from the radioactive effluent containing chloride ion and sodium ion.
