Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable prolonged use of a refractory even when internal temperature rises. SOLUTION: In this combustion furnace 11 wherein a refractory 16 is mounted on the internal surface of a metal outer wall cylinder 14 by a metal anchor, the refractory 16 is built in a double structure comprising a silica carbide based brick 17 which is arranged inside the furnace and contains alumina oxide and silica carbide with a bulk density of 1900 Kg/m3 or more, and a silica oxide- alumina oxide based brick 18 which is arranged between the silica carbide based brick 17 and the internal surface of the metal outer wall cylinder 14 and contains silica oxide and alumina oxide with a hot linear expansion/ reduction ratio of 0.7 or less. The bulk density of the silica carbide based brick 17 is larger than that of the silica oxide-alumina oxide based brick 18. |
