MECHANICAL PARKING FACILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical parking facility allowing it to be matched with site conditions to expand use conditions and provide a variation in layout of an entire parking area. SOLUTION: A mechanical parking facility comprises a lift space 3 having an access berth 2 as a car access space and a lift device 4 disposed adjacent to the access berth 2 and liftably moving a car C between the access berth 2 and a designated parking story and a carriage D and pallet transfer device moving the car in Y-direction on the designated parking story and transferring it in X-direction crossed perpendicular to that moving direction so as to access the car to the designated parking space E. Then, the access berth 2 and the lift space 3 are disposed adjacent to each other along the same direction as the direction (Y-direction) in which the car is moved on the designated parking story.
