Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound having excellent anti-cancer activity, also exhibiting anti-cancer activity on cisplatin-resistant cell strain, having good liposolubility and slight nephrotoxicity, capable of oral administration and useful as an anti-cancer agent. SOLUTION: This compound is a compound of the formula (X is a Cl2, malonate, 1,1-cyclobutyl dicarboxylate or the like; R1 and R2 are each group OH, Cl, OCOCH3 or the like), preferably e.g. trans, cis-dihydroxo, dichloro-1,4- butanediamine Pt (IV) complex. The compound of the formula, in the case of the compound as exemplified above, is obtained by adding 30% H2O2 to dichloro-1, 4-butanediamine Pt (II) complex.
