SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device capable of providing a proper meandering correcting accuracy even when special paper sheets such as the sheets or sealing sheets which differ from each other in ream weight are used, or even when the paper sheets the rigidity of which varies in response to the difference of using environment of the sheets are used. SOLUTION: In this sheet conveying device which conveys sheets for only a first control time T1 since the time when a sheet detecting means 6 detects the tip of a sheet 7 which allowing the sheet to about against a second conveying roller 5 in stopped state, which reverses the second conveying roller in the opposite direction to the sheet conveying direction after the first control for a second control time T2, and which turns a first conveying roller 3 and the second conveying roller forward in the sheet conveying direction to convey sheets after the second control time T2, plural control values for determining the first and second control times are provided based on the sheet ream weight.
