Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the utilizability of a garbage treatment device by reducing the size over the entire part of the device without reducing this garbage treatment capability while greatly improving the decomposition treatment capability of garbage by improving the decomposition efficiency of the continuously fed garbage. SOLUTION: The garbage treating device which annihilates the garbage by agitating and mixing a microorganism carrier carried with microorganisms for digesting the garbage and the garbage, is characterized in that the upstream side of a main treating vessel 13 for completely annihilating the garbage is provided with a pretreating vessel 11 adjacent to this main treating vessel 13.
