AUTOMATIC REMOVING DEVICE FOR ABNORMAL PARTS OF PARTS FEEDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic removing device for abnormal parts of parts feeder in which detection/separation of abnormal electronic parts is automatically performed and improvement of conveying efficiency is attained. SOLUTION: A parts feeder having a pass 23 for continuously feeding chip type electronic parts C in the fixed direction is provided with: fixed guides 22 constituting the bottom surface of the pass 23 and one side face; and a movable guide 27 freely attachable and detachable to and from the fixed guide 22 and having an inner side face constituting the upper surface of the pass 23 and the other side face. On at least one of the inner side face of the fixed guide 22 and the inner side face of the movable guide 27, an abnormality detection part 28 having a slope in the width direction inclined so as to be gradually narrowed in the advancing direction of the electronic parts C and a slope in the height direction is formed. A detecting means for detecting that the electronic parts C are stopped by the abnormality detecting part 28 and an opening/closing mechanism for responding to detection signal of the detecting means to open and close the movable guide 27 to the fixed guide 22 are provided. When the movable guide 27 is opened, the electronic parts C in the pass 23 are sucked out to the outside by a sucking mechanism.
